Need assistance with your Individual Health Plan?

I realize many of you have experienced the horrible hold times with the various carriers, and believe me, I FEEL YOUR PAIN! The carriers are aware of the problem and are doing everything they can to address the situation, including extending working hours, mandatory overtime, and hiring new employees to help assist with the backlog. I have found it helpful to sometimes put your request in writing and email it to the team for assistance (that is if you don’t have a question that has to be answered). You can use this method to cancel a policy or to make a simple change. I also highly suggest registering for an online account with your insurance company. The resources there are excellent! You can review your benefits, access claims info, print or request a new id card, pay your bill, research doctors or hospitals, get info on discount programs, and more!
